Description
This funding opportunity supports the establishment of a Technical Assistance (TA) Center for the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) program. The AIM TA Center will provide national expertise and support to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, tribal communities, and birthing facilities participating in AIM. The center’s mission is to advance quality improvement initiatives that make births safer, improve maternal health outcomes, and reduce preventable maternal morbidity and mortality. Activities include developing and disseminating evidence-based “patient safety bundles,” supporting data collection, and building partnerships among maternity care providers, public health agencies, birthing facilities, and community organizations.
