Description
The Sigma/Alpha Eta Collaborative Research Grant supports new research undertaken in Africa by active members of Sigma chapters in the Africa Region. Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing administers the opportunity, with funds provided by Alpha Eta Chapter. One research project receives support annually, with an emphasis on work ready to begin when funding is received.
The grant is part of Sigma’s research funding program, which advances nursing knowledge, practice, and healthcare. Sigma’s research priorities include healthy communities, evidence-based practice, vulnerable populations, and nurses’ research capacity.
