Description
The Alzheimer’s Association Research Grant For All (AARGA) supports early-career, newly independent researchers and clinicians conducting Alzheimer’s and related dementia research. Funding helps investigators develop preliminary or pilot data, test procedures, and develop hypotheses that lay the groundwork for future applications to federal agencies or other funders. Awards are individual research grants administered through the recipient’s institution.
The program welcomes basic science, translational studies, clinical research, and psychosocial investigations supported by a strong scientific rationale. Topics include disease mechanisms, biomarkers, therapeutic targets, epidemiology, neuroimaging, care interventions, and health equity. The Association emphasizes mentoring and diverse perspectives in addressing scientific gaps, and encourages researchers from underrepresented groups to apply.
