Description
The AMDF Thrive Award, offered by the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, supports innovative research aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals living with or affected by age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The award encourages proposals in diverse areas such as assistive technology development, self-monitoring tools, quality-of-life assessment solutions, novel approaches to low vision rehabilitation, and strategies to enhance patient–caregiver relationships. Projects that address comprehensive, whole-life approaches to managing AMD vision loss and related co-morbidities are also welcomed. The program reflects AMDF’s commitment to holistic support for the AMD community.
