Description
The American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) and the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) jointly fund this fellowship, which AAS administers. It supports scholarly research and writing on projects related to the American eighteenth century.
Fellows spend one or two months in residence in Worcester, Massachusetts, using AAS library collections. Applicants are assessed on their scholarly qualifications, the significance of their projects, and how well their proposed research fits the collections.
