The American Legion Child Well-being Foundation provides grants to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations for projects, programs, and research that directly enhance the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual welfare of children and youth across the United States, its territories, and possessions. The Foundation prioritizes initiatives with broad national or large geographic impact and encourages innovative approaches to improving children's quality of life and addressing diverse youth needs. Projects must be completed within one calendar year (January 1 – December 31 of the award year).
