--- ## Description The American Short-Term Research Publication Grants are designed to increase the number of women with academic tenure and promote gender equity in higher education by providing funding for women scholars to prepare research manuscripts for publication. Open to all academic fields, the program especially encourages applications from those in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines and from researchers focusing on gender issues. The grant supports activities such as drafting, editing, or modifying manuscripts, replicating research, and responding to critical review feedback, with the aim of increasing the likelihood of publication.
