    Description

    This Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award provides an opportunity for U.S. academics to teach, conduct research, or combine both activities at the American University in Cairo (AUC) for either one semester (4 months) or two semesters (9 months). Scholars can design and teach undergraduate or graduate courses, deliver guest lectures, conduct seminars and workshops, consult on curriculum and program development, and mentor students. The award aims to foster mutual understanding and collaboration between the U.S. and Egypt, supporting the academic and cultural exchange mission of the Fulbright Program.

    Scholars are expected to actively engage with the host institution and the wider university community, participating in public talks and outreach activities. Projects are welcome in all disciplines offered at AUC, including the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, Science and Engineering, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Graduate School of Education.
