Description
Volunteer Tennessee’s AmeriCorps funding opportunities provide grants to eligible organizations across Tennessee to operate AmeriCorps programs for the 2027–28 program year. These grants support projects that engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions to address locally identified needs in areas such as disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environmental stewardship, healthy futures, and support for veterans and military families. Funded programs are expected to generate measurable outcomes and foster civic engagement through national service.
Both new and existing programs are eligible, with funding available through cost reimbursement and fixed amount grant types. Programs must design service activities that result in significant community impact, align with AmeriCorps’ focus areas, and include at least one aligned performance measure (output paired with outcome).
