Description
Amgen supports independent medical education (IME) designed and delivered by accredited providers for physicians and other healthcare professionals, including trainees, allied health professionals, and payers. Eligible formats include live presentations, written materials, online courses, and conference symposia. Organizers retain control over content, faculty, educational methods, materials, and venue; Amgen does not guide those choices.
Proposals are assessed for alignment with educational goals addressing unmet clinical, educational, or professional practice needs. Interests include oncology, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, obesity, inflammatory and respiratory conditions, neuroimmunology, refractory gout, systemic inflammatory diseases, thyroid eye disease, and ultra-rare diseases. Topics may address diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, co-morbidities, access to care, or innovative and biosimilar drug development.
