Description
Amgen’s Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS) program reviews unsolicited clinical research proposals from qualified external sponsors. Studies may investigate an Amgen product or a disease of interest and may be interventional or observational, including health economics, epidemiology, and analyses of existing data. Amgen bases support decisions on research merit and alignment with its therapeutic development strategies and product-specific research interests.
Current areas of interest include bone health, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, hematology and oncology, nephrology, and rare disease. Questions span treatment effects and safety, disease burden, biomarkers, patient populations, and approaches to care. Amgen expects results of supported research to be shared through appropriate scientific forums, including peer-reviewed publications.
