AMS Explore is an initiative of the American Musicological Society designed to introduce current and recent undergraduate students to the AMS scholarly community. The program invites undergraduates to submit proposals for 10-minute paper presentations as part of a symposium at the AMS Annual Meeting. In addition to presenting their research, participants join cohort-based activities with peers and AMS Education Committee members, gaining professional development, constructive feedback, and a welcoming conference experience. The program aims to foster early-career scholarly engagement and provide meaningful support for undergraduate musicological research.
