Description
The AMS/NYU Travel Grant program, administered by the American Musicological Society (AMS), supports travel to the Society’s Annual Meeting for New York University graduate students in music studies. It promotes student attendance and presentation at the meeting, including papers and performances, rather than funding a separate research project.
AMS is hosted by and headquartered at New York University. The program is intended to strengthen ties between the Society and the NYU community by supporting graduate students’ participation in its Annual Meeting. Students attending without presenting are eligible, although preference is given to those accepted to present papers or give performances.
