Description
The American Mathematical Society (AMS) provides a limited number of child care reimbursement grants to help parents participate more fully in its sectional meetings. Administered by the AMS Meetings and Conferences Department, the program supports care that enables meeting participation rather than funding research or project work directly.
Funds may support any form of child care that frees a parent to participate, whether at home or at the meeting location. Examples include hiring a nanny at home or bringing a caregiver to the meeting. Parents arrange care independently: AMS does not provide on-site child care services or recommend child care providers.
