    Description

The Clean Energy Fellowship Program supports paid, independent student research under a university faculty advisor. Sponsored by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and administered at Princeton through the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, it encourages interdisciplinary work that advances clean energy concepts and develops student expertise. Supported sectors include solar, wind, geothermal, green hydrogen, fuel cells, biomass, tidal, nuclear, and hydropower.

The fellowship combines research across an academic year and the following summer with exposure to the clean energy industry. Monthly cohort meetings, guest lectures, site visits, and other activities complement the research experience. Fellows present their findings to industry, academic, and community stakeholders at the annual Clean Energy Research Symposium. Students from STEM, arts, humanities, and social sciences may participate.
