Description
Animal Welfare Grants from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County support organizations that serve animals and promote humane care in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. The program focuses on two priorities: emergency veterinary treatment for urgent cases or extraordinary medical needs, and large equipment purchases that support veterinary care.
Treatment funding addresses animals whose circumstances require an emergency response or care for exceptional medical needs. Equipment funding supports purchases for clinics or surgical care, with X-ray machines and surgical equipment among the examples identified by the foundation.
