The Anna C. & Oliver C. Colburn Fellowships fund scholars to conduct archaeological or historical research related to the ancient Greek world at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) for up to one year. The fellowship is designed to promote innovative research projects that deepen understanding of Greek antiquity, including material culture, ancient societies, and historical processes. Recipients are expected to utilize the resources of the ASCSA and may also undertake fieldwork or studies at other sites and museums in Greece. Fellows must submit a final report on their research and are encouraged to present their findings to the academic community.
