Description
The Anne Arundel County Community Tree Planting Mini Grant Program supports neighborhood associations, non-profits, community groups, and other eligible entities in Anne Arundel County, Maryland—including the City of Annapolis—to increase tree canopy and improve local environments. Projects may include native tree planting and invasive species removal, with an emphasis on community engagement, environmental education, and stewardship. The program aims to raise awareness of the benefits of trees for watershed health, air and water quality, and the overall restoration of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.
