Description
The ASPEN Rhoads Research Foundation’s Annual Award supports clinical nutrition research, including nutrition therapy, metabolic support, and related topics. This smaller award is intended for data collection and analysis on small projects, including research undertaken within a master’s or doctoral program, or for generating preliminary data for a new line of investigation. It is particularly suited to researchers pursuing smaller studies who may not have other funding options.
The Foundation supports early-career investigators whose work aligns with the ASPEN Research Agenda. Its priorities encompass basic science investigating nutrient regulation in different disease states, alongside clinical and translational research that refines and individualizes nutrition support to improve clinical outcomes.
