Description
The College Art Association (CAA) awards Annual Conference Member Support Grants each year to help members experiencing financial difficulties attend and participate in its Annual Conference. The grants provide practical assistance with participation costs rather than funding a separate research or project proposal. Supported needs include travel, accommodation, dependent care, technology, and special resources beyond those normally necessary for conference participation.
Technology support can include headphones, microphones, cameras, virtual conferencing accounts, bandwidth, and technology upgrades. Expenses must relate to the conference and be incurred during its dates or in preparation for it. Conference registration is excluded from this grant and is addressed through CAA’s separate Annual Conference Registration Grants program.
