Annual Conference Multiethnic Ministries supports programs focused on racial/ethnic leadership development and racial/ethnic church growth and development within The United Methodist Church. Presented by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) alongside Global Ministries, the program provides Multiethnic Ministries (MEM) grants each year to assist annual conferences with this work.
The grant brings together support for developing racial/ethnic leaders and strengthening racial/ethnic churches. It sits within the boards’ broader work to strengthen education, leadership development, mission engagement, and local ministry. GBHEM works with people and partners worldwide to connect the church and the academy and prepare transformative leaders for the church and the world.
