Description
Coastal Bend Community Foundation’s Annual Grants support projects that enhance quality of life across its seven-county service area. Funded by unrestricted and other eligible charitable funds, the program covers a broad range of community needs rather than a single subject. Current guidelines focus on specific programs or projects serving vulnerable individuals and families, including new and ongoing work.
The Foundation prioritizes measurable community benefits, support for disadvantaged youth and elderly residents, and education and job creation that help people move out of poverty. It also values collaboration, practical solutions, sustainable organizations and programs, and projects that attract additional resources. A single competitive application process covers available funds, including funds supporting people with intellectual disabilities, children’s programs, cultural activities, historical and ecological preservation, and elderly residents. Certain funds remain subject to donor preferences.
