Description
The Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) Grants program provides several distinct funding opportunities for early-career researchers and postdoctoral fellows focused on advancing the understanding, treatment, and potential cures for arthritis and related autoimmune diseases. ANRF’s grants are designed to support investigators at critical career transition points, especially those establishing independence in their research. The program includes four main mechanisms:
- Arthritis and Related Autoimmune Disease Research Grant (2 years, up to $250,000)
- Psoriatic Arthritis/Ankylosing Spondylitis Research Grant (2 years, up to $250,000)
- Rheum for Kids: Pediatric Skin and Joint Grant (1 year, up to $50,000; in collaboration with PeDRA)
- Postdoctoral Physician Scientist Fellowship (1 year, up to $50,000)
Each mechanism targets specific areas or career stages but shares a focus on supporting promising researchers who have not yet received an NIH R01 or equivalent grant.
