This opportunity funds research and innovation actions to develop and validate participatory foresight methods for the long-term planning, redesign, and development of existing neighbourhoods, in line with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles of sustainability, inclusiveness, and beauty. Projects should analyze socioeconomic, cultural, demographic, and climate trends, create scenarios and visions for the future, and use co-creation to engage diverse local stakeholders—including marginalized and vulnerable groups. The approach must be tested in at least three neighbourhoods across different EU Member States or Associated Countries. Recommendations should be provided for local authorities and the public, with outcomes contributing to broader NEB and EU Green Deal objectives. Transdisciplinary collaboration and integration of social sciences and humanities are mandatory, and international cooperation is encouraged.
