The Antiquities Endowment Fund (AEF) is an annual grant program administered by the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) to support the conservation, preservation, documentation, and dissemination of knowledge about Egypt’s cultural heritage. The program funds highly focused, professional projects that address the needs of Egyptian antiquities over 100 years old. Supported activities include conservation or protection of sites, buildings, or objects; training for conservators and students; and the production of publications or presentations. Projects conducted in Egypt are given strong preference.
