Description
The AO Spine Short-term International Fellowship, offered by the AO Foundation through AO Spine, provides additional clinical experience for fully trained orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons seeking to deepen their spine surgery expertise. Placements at designated host centers worldwide last four to twelve weeks and offer training with leading AO Spine faculty, exposure to advanced surgical techniques, and mentorship.
The program emphasizes clinical development in degenerative and infectious conditions, spinal deformity, and oncologic spine care. Alongside surgical learning, fellows exchange knowledge across borders and build professional relationships within the global AO Spine community.
