This program, run by the Institut français, aims to strengthen ties between African artists/cultural operators and the French cultural network by supporting the creation and dissemination of projects, festivals, and major cultural events with a regional dimension across Africa. AOCA particularly encourages collaboration among partners from multiple African countries in fields such as visual arts, digital creation, photography, music, theater, dance, and street arts. Priority is given to projects that highlight emerging artists, eco-responsible practices, and gender equality, fostering contemporary African creativity through regional tours, circulating exhibitions, and cross-country artistic collaborations.
