Description
AOCA is an Institut français program supporting cultural operators and artists based on the African continent. It assists creative projects, dissemination of artistic work, and cultural events taking place in Africa, with the aim of strengthening cultural ecosystems and international cooperation. Supported disciplines include visual arts and photography, digital creation, and performing arts and music.
The program focuses on projects that strengthen international dynamics within Africa and encourage collaboration among African artists and cultural operators, the French cultural network, and French cultural actors. Applicants may be African cultural institutions or organizations based in Africa, or members of the French cultural network abroad.
