Description

The APEX Awards, a partnership between the British Academy, the Royal Society, and the Royal Academy of Engineering (with support from the Leverhulme Trust), fund established independent researchers to pursue innovative, curiosity-driven, interdisciplinary research projects that cross the boundaries of science, engineering, social sciences, and the humanities. The scheme is designed to foster collaborations that integrate diverse methods and perspectives, enabling research that would not typically be funded through conventional programmes and delivering benefits to wider society. Projects must demonstrate genuine interdisciplinarity and involve team members from at least two different Academy remits.
