The Aquatic Plant Management Society (APMS) supports special projects in outreach, education, and research that advance the science, education, and practice of aquatic plant and algae management. Funding requests must explain how the proposed investment contributes to the Society’s mission, objectives, and Strategic Plan, and must fit within APMS’s collective ethic.
The program also supports participation in the APMS annual meeting, which provides a platform for sharing new information, fostering collaboration, and enhancing management practices. These funding mechanisms aim to help students, researchers, managers, and practitioners contribute to the field and the Society’s long-term goals. Complimentary registration and/or rooms are available annually for Federal agency participants, with supported attendees expected to participate actively and meaningfully in the meeting.
