Description
The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Research Grants program funds early-career psychiatric-mental health nurse investigators to advance knowledge and practice within the field. The program supports both research studies that generate new knowledge and evidence-based practice (EBP) or quality improvement (QI) projects that apply evidence in clinical settings. Priority is given to projects addressing shared decision-making, health equity, integrated care, workforce issues, and innovative psychiatric nursing interventions. The grants are intended to foster innovation and improve mental health outcomes by supporting scholarly work from APNA members who are at the early stages of their research careers.
