Description
This program provides technical assistance (TA) to rural healthcare organizations in the Appalachian region, including critical access hospitals (CAHs), small rural hospitals, rural health clinics, tribal healthcare facilities, and similar organizations. The aim is to support these organizations—specifically those located in rural counties served by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC)—in planning and implementing improvements to healthcare services. The overarching goal is to strengthen healthcare delivery in rural Appalachian communities by enhancing financial and operational performance and the quality of care.
