Description
This grant program, administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), provides funding for projects that foster economic growth, improve infrastructure, and revitalize communities in Tennessee’s 52-county Appalachian region. The program is designed to enhance quality of life, promote sustainable development, and address local needs by investing in initiatives aligned with both state and ARC strategic priorities. Eligible projects may include construction and non-construction activities, such as water/wastewater infrastructure, business development, workforce training, tourism, and community capacity building.
