The Appendant Bodies Achievement Grants program supports worthwhile Masonic programs that could not be undertaken without financial assistance. Funded by the Scottish Rite Foundation, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A., Inc. (SRF), the annual program reflects the foundation’s belief that recognized Masonic appendant bodies and Masonic youth organizations play a key role in the fraternity’s future. Programs may operate at the national, state, or local level.
Supported activities include leadership training and development, communication and social media, technology improvements, educational programs, mentoring, community relations, and philanthropy. The Supreme Council selects projects with measurable objectives and goals consistent with Masonic principles, considering project scope, need, budget, and the ability to raise additional funds needed. The program supports project activities rather than routine operations.
