Description
The Application Grant, part of the Innovate Rhode Island Small Business Fund and administered by the Rhode Island Science and Technology Advisory Council (STAC), is designed to help Rhode Island small businesses prepare competitive proposals for federal SBIR/STTR Phase I funding. The grant reimburses eligible costs related to proposal development, such as professional consulting, editing, and budget preparation, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of local entrepreneurs and start-ups in national research programs.
