Description
The Applied History Fellowship: Social History Archive is a collaborative initiative by the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), Royal Historical Society (RHS), and DC Thomson. The fellowship is designed to address challenges facing the historical profession by supporting early career historians who wish to broaden the impact and practical application of their research. Fellows join a supportive cohort, receive mentoring and training, and engage in a two-day-per-week online placement with The Social History Archive, gaining experience in a commercial history context. The program is structured to help participants develop their publication, impact, and engagement profiles, while also offering opportunities to join IHR, RHS, and TSHA editorial activities.
