The Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute (SLMath) offers semester-long collaborative research programs designed to advance mathematical sciences by fostering a vibrant, interdisciplinary community. The institute welcomes applications for three main types of positions: Research Professors, Research Members, and Postdoctoral Fellows. Each role is tailored to different career stages and research goals, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentoring, and community engagement. SLMath provides a supportive environment, including childcare grants, family services, and policies aimed at facilitating participation by researchers with families. The Complementary Program offers opportunities for mathematicians whose interests align with SLMath leadership or who are partners of invited core program members.
