The Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute (SLMath) offers semester-long collaborative research programs designed to foster significant advances in mathematical knowledge. These residencies bring together mathematicians from around the world to participate in focused research in areas spanning pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, and related fields. SLMath provides a vibrant intellectual community, opportunities for collaboration, and a supportive environment—including resources for researchers with families—to enable full participation in its scientific activities.
