Description
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) offers Apprenticeship Training Grants through its Workforce Development Training Fund. The grants help Wyoming Registered Apprenticeship Programs deliver Related Technical Instruction (RTI)—the classroom or other organized instruction that complements apprentices’ on-the-job training. The goal is to develop an industry-specific workforce for a Wyoming business, group of businesses, or industry while helping programs meet the costs of training apprentices.
Funding is limited to allowable expenses directly associated with RTI, rather than apprenticeship activity generally. A Wyoming-based program sponsor or an associated RTI provider may apply. Applications are developed in partnership with the sponsor, the RTI provider when separate, and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Apprenticeship.
