Description
This opportunity, administered by the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) in partnership with the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC), funds projects that advance the Healthy Ecosystems goals of the Lake Champlain Basin by restoring aquatic organism passage (AOP). The program aims to remove barriers such as undersized culverts and small dams, enhance stream connectivity, reconnect cold-water stream networks, and improve habitat quality for native aquatic species. Projects must be located within the U.S. portion of the Lake Champlain Basin and can address any project phase from assessment and design to implementation and monitoring.
