Description
The Aquatic Resource Mitigation (ARM) Fund, administered by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), provides competitive grants to support projects that restore, enhance, establish, or protect wetlands, streams, and other aquatic resources across New Hampshire. Funded by in-lieu fee (ILF) mitigation payments from permitted impacts to aquatic resources, the program aims to achieve a measurable net gain in resource acreage and ecological function within nine defined watershed service areas. The fund prioritizes restoration and enhancement, but also supports preservation and establishment projects.
