Description
The fellowship provides critical funding to advance high-risk, high-reward research in the natural sciences by early-career scientists at Harvard. Eligible applicants include postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty at Harvard Medical School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The program prioritizes innovative proposals with strong potential impact, supporting both basic and applied science projects.
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) administers the fund, inviting nominations from school deans. Nominated applicants are then invited to submit full proposals for consideration.
