Description
The American Floral Endowment (AFE) administers this travel grant to help traditional retail florists in Arizona attend floral industry educational and design events. The program supports learning beyond the events applicants regularly attend, with the aim of expanding their knowledge and creating opportunities to share that learning with industry peers in Arizona.
Eligible opportunities include floral design schools, national industry conventions, academies, classes, and state or regional floral conventions. Events generally must take place outside Arizona, although national programs held within the state can qualify. The program values diversity in educational experiences: applications for an alternative event receive additional weight when recent awards have repeatedly supported attendance at the same event.
