Description
The Arnold L. and Lois S. Graves Awards in the Humanities, administered by Pomona College under the auspices of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), recognize and support exceptional early-career faculty in the humanities and interpretive social sciences at select private liberal arts colleges in California, Oregon, and Washington. These biennial awards are designed to enable transformative professional experiences that enhance future teaching and scholarship, with the goal of fostering both individual growth and institutional excellence in undergraduate humanities education.
