Proposals should engage contemporary architectural questions, address current local and global issues, and produce a useful end product. Past funded work spans climate-adaptive building practices, renewable materials, cooperative housing, architectural education, community-based preservation, public space, architectural history, and acoustic solutions. Projects may take place internationally, provided they explain their relevance to the Center for Architecture in New York City.
