Description
The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Clinician Educator Development Program Level 1 is a focused, two-day workshop funded through The Roentgen Fund. Each year, 30 junior faculty members are selected to participate during the ARRS Annual Meeting. The program helps clinician educators learn new teaching skills and tools, improve existing approaches, and gain proficiency in designing educational activities.
More than half of the workshop consists of hands-on learning, modeling approaches participants can use in their own teaching. Preparatory homework is incorporated into the sessions, and participants have opportunities to network with faculty and fellow clinician educators. Selection emphasizes applicants’ educational involvement, career goals, and potential future impact in radiology education.
