Description
The ARRS Clinician Educator Development Program (CEDP) Level 2 is an advanced, two-day course held during the American Roentgen Ray Society Annual Meeting and funded by The Roentgen Fund. It selects 30 mid-career radiologists annually for interactive instruction and hands-on training in curriculum development, learning theory, educational leadership, and scholarship. The program aims to help experienced clinician educators move from good teachers to master educators who design effective teaching, learning experiences, and assessments.
The course includes practical use of AI to improve efficiency, enhance teaching, develop curricula and assessments, and advance educational scholarship. Sessions address challenging learners and learning environments through teaching, feedback, and coaching. Participants also explore designing, evaluating, disseminating, and publishing educational work, alongside strategies for promotion, leadership, mentorship, sponsorship, and securing resources to support their careers as educators.
