Description
The ARRS Education Scholarship supports early-career faculty developing innovative tools and programs that could transform how radiologic science is taught. Funded through the American Roentgen Ray Society’s Roentgen Fund, it supports projects in any area of education or educational research in the radiologic sciences. Examples include educational apps for residents and fellows, online programs or websites teaching specific topics, in-person training courses, and projects helping practicing radiologists acquire specific skills.
The scholarship combines financial support and recognition to advance scholars’ professional development and prepare them for education leadership. Innovative, forward-thinking projects are favored. The Roentgen Fund Board of Trustees selects one award annually, considering the candidate’s educational competence and leadership promise, the project’s design and potential teaching impact, and the institution’s capacity to support educational aims and well-rounded professional growth.
