Description
The Art Bridges Collection makes more than 250 works of American art available for loan to museums across the United States. Spanning the 19th century to the present, the expanding collection encompasses multiple media and voices. Art Bridges Foundation provides free collection loans and strategic support to help borrowing venues bring these works into their galleries and engage their communities.
The collection is part of Art Bridges’ Art Sharing initiative, which fosters long-term partnerships among museums of all sizes and locations throughout the United States and its territories. Its goals include filling gaps and increasing diversity in museum collections, expanding access to American art, reaching new audiences, and fostering community engagement. Borrowed works can be displayed in permanent galleries or used to create temporary exhibitions focused on Art Bridges loans.
