This grant program provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public entities in the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC) region to stimulate and encourage the creation, performance, and appreciation of the arts. Funding may support a broad array of artistic activities, including performances, exhibits, festivals, arts classes, and public art projects, with the aim of enriching community life and fostering artistic growth and engagement throughout the region. Both new and ongoing projects are eligible, and a portion of the grant may be used for prorated operating expenses (for arts organizations only).
