Description
William & Mary’s Art & Science Exchange supports collaborations that bring the arts and sciences together to develop knowledge for the public good. Funded teams present their work in a week-long public Spring Showcase through exhibitions, performances, talks or workshops. Projects are intended to give students opportunities to investigate the intersection of disciplines while engaging academic and creative communities.
The award emphasizes innovation, public engagement and work in which participating disciplines strengthen one another. Reviewers also consider originality, alignment with university priorities, inclusive excellence, opportunities for student leadership and skill development, and potential for the project to grow beyond the showcase.
