Description
Art Ventures – Organizations is a Community Foundation for Northeast Florida program that funds organizational capacity-building and program development. Its goal is to strengthen small and mid-size arts and cultural organizations through improvements to management and artistic excellence, rather than support their ongoing operations or established programs.
Art Ventures has supported artists and arts organizations since 1990, making more than 240 grants to individual artists and more than 150 grants to organizations. Organization and individual-artist funding are offered in alternating years. The Delores Barr Weaver Black Arts Organization Fund provides additional funding for qualifying Black-led or Black-centered organizations.
